Let summer chase away your worries about the GDPR.
With the latest Threat Defender release, most of your worries about the GDPR are a thing of the past. Threat Defender now provides a GDPR mode that lets you select how much user-related data you wish to collect.
The new release also has a new late log option that allows you to only log events when the corresponding flow has stopped so that you can analyze the complete flow.
At the same time we worked on our analytics feature. We added layer 4 analytics for applications/protocols and destinations. Navigation through the drill down charts was also improved.
Furthermore, the various logging messages contain more information and it is now possible to set IPFIX update intervals. This means that your external analysis won't be overloaded with updates in 1 second intervals.
And last but certainly not least: in addition to all the above we managed to even further increase the performance of Threat Defender by up to 25 percent. We are already looking forward to a new round of performance tests.
