All I want for Christmas are user-based policies!
Version 20181206.0 of cognitix Threat Defender is right in time for Christmas. And it has a great gift for network admins that will help them protect their network even better: This new release greatly enhances our user tracking feature. Users can now be used in policies to create behavior-based correlation scenarios for individual users. These rules evaluate the user's behavior across all devices assigned to that user and apply the policies accordingly.
It is now possible to back up the user database and to export and import the user database from one Threat Defender to another.
In addition, Threat Defender now provides downloadable PDF reports on assets and users as well as threat intelligence log events. We will continue to refine these printable reports in the upcoming releases. This enables MS(S)Ps to provide their services in an easier way and extend their service portfolio for the benefit of their customers.
For a complete list of the new features and improvements, see the release notes.
