Tips for Applicants

As an applicant, you promote yourself. However following tips might be helpful:

For a successful application you need a cover letter, a curriculum vitae as well as relevant certificates and recommendations. We prefer that you send us your application electronically and not in paper form. This makes the process more efficient and environmentally friendly.

Do include a cover letter in your application. In this, you explain why you are the ideal candidate for the position. Keep in mind that “Keep it short and simple” is the formula for success and not being longer than one page. Tell us something about your professional experience and explain the reasons why you apply for the position.

The curriculum vita (CV)

Please provide a brief description of your professional experience – if possible in the form of a fact or data sheet. Focus your description towards the position you are applying for by emphasizing any relation between the nature of the experience and the skills that are required of you for this particular job. We would recommend to put your job experience in reverse chronological order, starting with the most recent activities.

Certificates and recommendations

Please check which certificates or recommendations are relevant for the position. If you have additional qualifications that are important it is always good to mention them. Internships and time spent abroad (with exact dates of your stay) are also very interesting for us as well as language and IT courses.

The photo

It is not mandatory to send us a photo but it can help to give us a more personal impression. Nevertheless if you include a photo, please make sure that it shows you in a professional context.

We are looking forward to your application!
